Dr. Ippolito was born in Cleveland, Ohio and grew up in Shaker Heights. He then attended Miami State and Ohio State School of Dentistry.
Doctor Ippolito and his wife, Patty, have 4 children and 8 grandchildren. Doctor coached little league for 13 years and also assisted Patty's antique business.
Doctor Ippolito now volunteers his time with Young Life, San Pasqual Academy Foundation as well as the Child Abuse Prevention Foundation.
